For those who admired him for his Intellect, Humanity and Courage.
Dedicated to the memory of
Quentin Crisp
When we say of somebody else that he is boring, it is ourselves that we criticize because we have not made ourselves into that wide-open vessel into which people can pour their entire life.
Nothing is boring except for a lie."
- Quentin Crisp

Quentin and Sherlock Holmes

Image: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In 1996 the Pulse Ensemble Theatre in New York did a production of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story 'Sherlock Holmes and the Speckled Band'.

Holmes was played by Tucker McReady, Watson by Frank Nicolo.

The play was adapted by Alexa Kelly and directed by Paul Moss

Quentin played the butler of the Stoke Moran estate, and received good reviews for his work.

"It was a delight, to see Quentin Crisp on stage as the estate's put-upon butler. He was perfect for the part and had a good feel for the idiom." - John Michael Koroly
