It includes footage of his meetings with Quentin in New York, during his research for his stage play, based on Quentin's life and works - Resident Alien : Quentin Crisp Explains it all.
It also includes interviews with his relatives, (including his nieces), friends, (including Guy Kettlehack, Penny Arcade & Philip Ward), who talk about Quentin's life and his last months prior to his fatal return trip to England.
It also includes an interview with the lady, in whose house Quentin stayed on the night of his arrival in England, and in which he was found dead the following morning.
The documentary looks at Quentin's life, and tries to find out why he choose to come back to England, at the age of almost 91, when he was in very poor health.
