I have just had an email from Philip Ward the executor of Quentin's estate and curator of the Quentin Crisp Archives (Visit the website), that this project is still a work in progress.
John Hurt is aware of it and will read the script once it is finished. But it will not be until then that we will know if he will say yes or no to reprising his most famous role.

Possibly titled "The Naked Civil Servant 2: The New York Years", this sequel to The Naked Civil Servant has been written by Brian Fillis, and is based on Quentin's third autobiography Resident Alien: The New York Diaries.
The movie is scheduled to be shot next year, presumably to tie in with the centenary of his birth.
