Quentin's Centenary

Well it seems like only yesterday I first watched The Naked Civil Servant, yet here it is - 2008 will be the centenary of Quentin's birth!

And what a year it promises to be.

A sequal to The Naked Civil Servant - to be titled "An Englishman In New York" is to be made with John Hurt reprising his role as Quentin.
Richard Louis James put on a second run of his play Tea 'N' Crisp at the San Francisco Playhouse in February, and will be returning for a third run in the summer.
Tim Fountain is hoping to get his play Resident Alien produced again.
Leon Acord has also told me that he and Jeffrey Hartgraves are trying to get their play Carved In Stone produced again.
I also suspect that Philip Ward will publish Quentin's last book Dusty Answers.
Stephen Sorrentino has just told me about his new book on Quentin 'Crisp Conversation' which he has just finished
Bova Films have purchased the rights to a film of one of Quentin's shows, and are planning a full length feature documentary to be called 'I'm notorious : Quentin Crisp'

So lots to look forward to. I wonder what Quentin would have thought of it all?
